Untilization of Game-Based Learning Methods in Indonesian Language Learning in Elementary Schools

This study investigates the implementation of game-based learning methods in teaching Indonesian language at the elementary school level. Using a qualitative approach through an interview with a classroom teacher, the findings reveal that game-based methods can enhance student motivation, engagement, and comprehension of language materials. Although the use of games is more common in subjects like mathematics, their application in language lessons also shows promising outcomes. The teacher highlighted that while games cannot dominate the curriculum, they are effective when integrated selectively. Additionally, the teacher expressed a positive attitude toward professional development through online seminars and informal training to enrich teaching strategies.

Problem-Based Learning (PBL) Approach in Indonesian Language: A Case Study in Grade IV Elementary School

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) approach in Indonesian language learning in Grade IV Elementary School. A qualitative approach was used with a case study method through in-depth interviews with a Grade IV teacher. The results of the study show that the teacher plans Indonesian language learning by formulating problems relevant to the theme of the lesson, conducting group discussions, engaging students in critical thinking, providing guidance, and conducting reflections. The stages of PBL applied include problem orientation, directing students to learn, providing guidance, analyzing the problem, and evaluating solutions. The types of problems used in learning include social problems, learning issues, and oral presentations. Student responses were generally positive, showing active participation in discussions. However, challenges were found in terms of classroom conditions, the low motivation of some students who had difficulties in reading and writing, and limited time for conducting discussions. These findings highlight the importance of teacher preparedness and classroom management in the effective implementation of PBL.

Analisis Kemampuan Berfikir Kritis Siswa Dalam Mengamati Buku Cerita Pada Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia

Critical thinking is an important skill that allows students to analyze, evaluate, and draw conclusions logically and systematically. This study aims to analyze the critical thinking skills of grade V students in Indonesian learning, especially through storybook materials. The research used a descriptive qualitative approach with 31 students at SDN Kedungkrisik. Data were collected through teacher description tests and interviews, based on six critical thinking indicators: interpretation, analysis, inference, evaluation, explanation, and selfregulation. The results showed the highest achievement in the indicator of giving a logical reason or explanation (93.55%) and the lowest in the indicator of reflecting and evaluating oneself (50.54%). In general, students' critical thinking skills are in the medium category. The conclusion of this study states that students have potential in logical reasoning, but still face difficulties in evaluate one's own understanding and identify relevant information in the text. This research contributes to the world of education by revealing specific aspects of students' critical thinking and providing suggestions for learning improvement to encourage deep thinking skills in Indonesian learning

Analisis Model Pembelajaran Project Based Learning pada Siswa Kelas Tinggi di Sekolah Dasar

The purpose of this study was to determine the analysis of Project BasedLearning learning activities for students at SDN Kedungkrisik Cirebon. The subject ofthis research is a 4th grade teacher selected on April 29, 2025. The sample in this studywas taken using a qualitative approach. Project Based Learning model learning data inthe form of interview results. This research was conducted by interviewing teachersabout project-based learning model learning. The results showed that the Project BasedLearning model was applied to improve cooperation, creativity, and studentinvolvement. Projects are designed according to the material, assessed throughpresentations and rubrics, and supported by teachers and parents despite facing someobstacles. It can be concluded that the implementation of Project Based Learning atSDN Kedungkrisik is effective in improving students' creativity, cooperation andparticipation. Projects are designed according to the material with the support ofteachers and parents. Although there are obstacles such as limited tools and variedstudent involvement, learning still runs flexibly and collaboratively.

This research is motivated by the changes in the curriculum within the education sector, which necessitate updates to the teaching materials used in the learning process, particularly in the subject of Mathematics for fifth-grade students focusing on flat shapes. The aim of this study is to compare the teaching materials from the KTSP Curriculum and the Merdeka Curriculum, as well as to analyze the feasibility of the content, language, presentation, and graphics. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method, utilizing data collection techniques such as observation, material review, and documentation study. The subjects of this research include the fifth-grade student books published by the Ministry of Education and the Cerdas Matematika fifth-grade student book published by the local government. The findings of this study are expected to serve as a foundation for developers in creating interactive, creative, and innovative teaching materials on flat shapes, presented with engaging content to enhance student interest and facilitate their understanding of the concepts of flat shapes.T

The Influence Between Self-efficacy and Understanding of Science Concepts in Elementary Schools: A Meta-Regression Analysis

This research aims to determine the extent to which self-efficacy affects students' understanding of science concepts. The research design used is a quantitative approach with survey method and non-experimental design. The sample used in this study amounted to 50 students consisting of 22 women and 27 men selected through purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques were carried out using tests in the form of questions about understanding science concepts and non-tests in the form of questionnaires to measure student self-efficacy. Data were analyzed using simple linear regression to test the relationship between self-efficacy and understanding of science concepts. Berpikir kritis merupakan keterampilan penting yang memungkinkan siswa untuk menganalisis, mengevaluasi, dan menarik kesimpulan secara logis dan sistematis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas V dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia, khususnya melalui materi buku cerita. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan subjek sebanyak 31 siswa di SDN Kedungkrisik. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes uraian dan wawancara guru, berdasarkan enam indikator berpikir kritis: interpretasi, analisis, penyimpulan, evaluasi, eksplanasi, dan regulasi diri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pencapaian tertinggi pada indikator memberikan alasan atau penjelasan logis (93,55%) dan terendah pada indikator merefleksikan dan mengevaluasi diri (50,54%). Secara umum, kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa berada pada kategori sedang. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa siswa memiliki potensi dalam penalaran logis, namun masih menghadapi kesulitan dalam mengevaluasi pemahaman sendiri dan mengidentifikasi informasi yang relevan dalam teks. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi bagi dunia pendidikan dengan mengungkap aspek-aspek spesifik dari berpikir kritis siswa serta memberikan saran perbaikan pembelajaran untuk mendorong keterampilan berpikir mendalam dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia.

Implementation of the Values of Togetherness, Unity, and Tolerance in Multicultural Education in Elementary School Group 3 Leuwimunding

Schools are educational institutions that play a role in preparing students to become a generation that has knowledge, attitudes, and actions that reflect the life of the nation and state, by paying attention to cultural diversity in society. The diversity of cultures, ethnicities, races, and religions in Indonesia is a great potential that can be used as a common force in encouraging the progress of the nation. To foster multicultural education in schools, various strategies can be applied both through the learning process, other school activities, and the implementation of school management that is oriented towards multicultural values. In this case, the principal has an important role as a leader and the person in charge. As a plural and multicultural country, the national cultural strategy needs to contain appropriate values, one of which is the principle of mutualism, which is mutually beneficial cooperation and does not favor only one group. This shows the importance of providing space for the development of a multicultural society, with recognition of the right of each group to maintain and develop its culture. That way, people can establish themselves and their home regions as an inseparable part of the Indonesian homeland, by upholding the values of egalitarianism, tolerance, and democracy.

Perbandingan Materi Ekspor Impor dalam Buku IPS Kelas VI pada Kurikulum KTSP dan Kurikulum Merdeka

This study aims to analyze and compare the presentation of material on exports and imports in the Social Sciences (IPS) tectbook for grade VI elementary school students, using two different curriculum, namely the Education Unit Level Curriculum (KTSP) and the Independent Curriculum. The approach used in this study is qualitative descriptive, with data collection techniques through content analysis of two social studies books representing each curriculum. The focus of the analysis is directed at the presentation of export and import concepts, the level of depth of content, the relevance of the material to real life, and the learning approach applied in each book. The results of the study show that books that follow KTSP tend to convey information descriptively and emphasize memorization. On the other hand, books that refer to the Independent Curriculum prioritize conceptual understanding with a contextual approach and encourage student involvement in the critical thinking process. The Independent Curriculum book is also richer in illustrations, picker questions, and simple project-based activities that aim to strengthen students understanding of the role of exports and import in the economy. This finding suggests the development of teaching materials that are able to balance the delivery of factual information and strengthening thinking skill so the social studies learning becomes more relevant and meaningful for students.

Persepsi Guru dan Siswa Terhadap Penerapan Pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) dalam Pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) di sekolah dasar

Penelitian ini dilakukan di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Tanjungsari II dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pandangan guru mengenai manfaat, tantangan, dan efektivitas pendekatan dari CTL dalam pembelajaran IPS, mengetahui bagaimana siswa merespons pembelajaran IPS dengan pendekatan CTL serta mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam penerapan CTL berdasarkan pengalaman di kelas.. Penelitian ini berjudul “Persepsi Guru dan Siswa Terhadap Penerapan Pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) dalam Pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) di sekolah dasar” Pokok permasalahan yang diajukan dalam dalam penelitian ini yaitu meliputi persepsi guru dan siswa terhadap penerapan pembelajaran IPS yang menggunakan pendeakatan CTL serta kendala dan faktor apa saja yang dihadapi dalam menggunakan pendekatan CTL pada pembelajaran IPS tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari satu guru wali kelas IV dan lima siswa kelas IV di satu Sekolah Dasar Negeri Tanjungsari II. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru memiliki persepsi positif terhadap Contextual Teaching and Learning CTL karena pendekatan ini dapat membuat pembelajaran lebih kontekstual, bermakna dan menyenangkan, meskipun menuntut persiapan yang lebih matang. Siswa juga menyatakan respons yang positif bahwa mereka merasa lebih antusias mudah memahami materi ketika dikaitkan dengan pengalaman sehari-hari. Selain itu penelitian ini mengidentifikasi adanya kendala utama yang dihadapi yaitu keterbatasan waktu. Untuk mengatasi kendala tersebut penelitian menyarankan untuk disediakannya pelatihan dan pengembangan profesional dan manajemen waktu yang efisien dan dianggap sangat penting untuk meningktkan efektiftas pendidikan serta dapat membantu mengatasi berbagai kendala. Diharapkan dengan adanya penelitian ini daoat memberikan, meningkatkan pendidikan yang lebih baik lagi.

Analisis Pengaruh Kemandirian Belajar terhadap Hasil Belajar IPS Siswa di Sekolah Dasar pada kelas rendah di sekolah SDN 4 KENANGA

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis sejauh mana kemandirian belajar memengaruhi hasil belajar mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) pada siswa Sekolah Dasar, baik di jenjang kelas rendah maupun kelas tinggi. Kemandirian belajar diartikan sebagai kemampuan peserta didik dalam mengelola, mengarahkan, dan menilai proses belajarnya sendiri tanpa ketergantungan penuh pada guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui metode survei dan analisis korelasional. Data diperoleh dari penyebaran angket mengenai kemandirian belajar serta tes untuk mengukur hasil belajar IPS. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif dan signifikan antara tingkat kemandirian belajar dengan capaian hasil belajar IPS. Siswa dengan tingkat kemandirian belajar yang tinggi cenderung meraih prestasi belajar yang lebih baik. Hubungan ini ditemukan pada semua jenjang kelas, namun lebih kuat pada siswa kelas tinggi (kelas IV–VI), yang mulai mengembangkan kemampuan metakognitif. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya membina kemandirian belajar sejak dini agar siswa dapat mengoptimalkan potensi akademiknya secara mandiri.
