RADEC Model on Critical Thinking Skills of Science Education In Elementary School: A Systematic Literature Review

This study employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) guided by the PRISMA 2020 protocol to evaluate the effectiveness of the RADEC (Read, Answer, Discuss, Explain, and Create) learning model in enhancing critical thinking skills among elementary school students. A total of 21 peer-reviewed studies published between 2019 and 2025 were analyzed. The findings show that the RADEC model enhances critical thinking, particularly in science education. Through its structured stages, the model promotes active engagement, social interaction, reflective thinking, and conceptual understanding. Despite these benefits, challenges such as low student literacy, limited teacher readiness, and insufficient institutional support were identified. These results highlight the need for comprehensive teacher training and institutional support to ensure successful implementation. The RADEC model presents itself as a promising and adaptable approach for promoting 21st-century competencies in primary education.

Pengaruh Model Project Based Learning Berbantuan Video Interaktif Terhadap Kemampuan Kreativitas Siswa Sekolah Dasar: Suatu Kajian Sistematis Literatur

This systematic literature review explores the influence of Project based learning (PjBL) supported by interactive video media on the creativity of elementary school students. In the 21st-century educational landscape, creativity is a fundamental skill that must be developed from an early age. The study aims to map current research findings on how the integration of digital interactive videos within PjBL environments contributes to enhancing students' creative thinking dimensions, including originality, elaboration, fluency, and flexibility. A total of 38 relevant empirical articles published between 2015 and 2024 were selected from databases such as Google Scholar, ERIC, Scopus, and ResearchGate. The PRISMA method was used for article selection, and thematic analysis was conducted using NVivo 12 Plus. The results indicate that video-assisted PjBL consistently supports creativity development by stimulating idea generation, contextual understanding, and student engagement. However, challenges such as digital infrastructure, teacher readiness, and time allocation are noted. This study contributes theoretically to creative learning model development and offers practical implications for educators aiming to design meaningful, technology-integrated instructional practices in elementary education.

Analisis Moderasi dan Mediasi Dukungan Sosial Terhadap Pengaruh Empati Pada Keterlibatan Akademik Siswa Sekolah

This study investigates the effect of empathy on elementary school students' academic engagement by examining the mediating and moderating roles of social support. Employing a quantitative survey design, the study involved 249 students from four elementary schools selected through stratified random sampling. Data were collected using questionnaires that assessed three primary constructs: empathy, social support, and student engagement. Data analysis was performed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS version 4. The findings reveal that empathy significantly and positively influences both student engagement and perceived social support. However, social support does not have a direct significant impact on student engagement and fails to mediate the relationship between empathy and engagement. Interestingly, empathy was found to moderate the relationship between social support and engagement negatively, indicating that students with high levels of empathy tend to participate actively in learning regardless of external support. These results highlight the critical role of empathy in fostering student engagement and support the integration of social-emotional learning strategies in elementary education settings.

Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning Pada Mata Pelajaran PKN Kelas 4 di SDN 1 Jatimerta

This study aims to analyze the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model in student learning confidence in Civics Education (Civics) subjects in elementary schools. The background of this research is based on the low participation of students in the Civics learning process which tends to be passive. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of semi-structured interviews with classroom teachers, observation of the learning process, and supporting documentation. The results showed that the application of PBL was able to encourage students to be actively involved in learning through group discussions, real problem solving, and presentation of work results. Students look more enthusiastic, critical, and show improvement in communication and collaboration skills. The application of PBL also provides space for students to develop higher order thinking skills needed in the 21st century. The conclusion of this study states that the PBL model is effective in increasing student learning activeness, especially in Civics subject. This research contributes to the development of innovative learning strategies that are relevant to be applied at the basic education level.

The Validity and Reliability of Social Responsibility Among Senior High School Students

The purpose of this project is to create and verify a measurement instrument for evaluating high school students' social responsibility. Data were gathered quantitatively from 248 kids who were chosen from a variety of metropolitan schools using purposive sampling. Based on a theoretical framework of social responsibility, the instrument was validated both constructively using Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) and content by experts using the CVR and CVI methods. Cronbach's Alpha and McDonald's Omega were used to assess for reliability, and both showed strong internal consistency (α > 0.80). The findings point to a realistic and trustworthy factor structure with three primary dimensions: social justice, social culture, and contextual understanding. These results lend credence to the instrument's usage in educational settings, especially character education, for diagnostic and assessment purposes. This study offers educators and policymakers a useful tool for assessing teenagers' social responsibility that is context-specific. To assess the instrument's external validity in various institutional and cultural contexts, further study is advised.

Implementasi Sistem IoT Berbasis ESP32 dalam Pembelajaran Vokasi untuk Green Cla

AbstrakPendidikan vokasi perlu beradaptasi dengan perkembangan teknologi digital dan tuntutan Industri 4.0. Penelitian ini merancang sistem pemantauan lingkungan berbasis IoT dengan menggunakan mikrokontroler ESP32, yang dilengkapi dengan sensor suhu (DHT22), sensor gas (MQ-135), serta dasbor web untuk pemantauan data secara real-time. Sistem ini dimanfaatkan sebagai media pembelajaran praktis dalam lingkungan pendidikan vokasi. Tujuan utamanya adalah meningkatkan literasi teknologi dan kesadaran akan keselamatan lingkungan di kalangan pelajar. Hasil awal menunjukkan sistem berfungsi stabil dan tepat, serta mendapat respon positif dari pelajar. Sistem ini dinilai layak digunakan sebagai alat membantu pembelajaran teknis yang kontekstual dan relevan.

Pengembangan Dashboard Monitoring Suhu Berbasis Laravel Untuk untuk Sistem IoT Menggunakan ESP32 Dan Broker MQTT

Abstrak Perkembangan teknologi Internet of Things membuka peluang besar untuk menciptakan sistem pemantauan lingkungan yang lebih efisien, khususnya di bidang pendidikan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menciptakan sistem pemantauan suhu ruangan berbasis IoT yang mengintegrasikan sensor DHT22 dan mikrokontroler ESP32 melalui aplikasi web berbasis Laravel, data suhu yang dikirim secara langsung melalui protokol MQTT ke server kemudian disimpan dalam database MySQL dan divisualisasikan menggunakan Chart.js pada dashboard interaktif. Metode yang diterapkan mencakup analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem, implementasi, dan pengujian performa sistem dalam menampilkan data suhu, dari hasil pengujian, diketahui bahwa sistem mampu menampilkan data suhu secara akurat, responsif, dan stabil. Antarmuka pengguna dirancang agar responsif dan nyaman digunakan di berbagai perangkat, mulai dari smartphone hingga laptop. Selain berfungsi sebagai alat pemantau suhu, sistem ini juga berpotensi digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran digital untuk mengenalkan konsep dasar IoT, sensor, komunikasi data, dan pengembangan web, dengan memanfaatkan teknologi open-source, sistem dalam penelitian ini menjadi lebih mudah diakses, dikembangkan, dan digunakan dalam berbagai situasi pendidikan dan pengawasan lingkungan. Abstrak The advancement of Internet of Things (IoT) technology presents significant opportunities to create more efficient environmental monitoring systems, particularly in the field of education. This study aims to develop an IoT-based room temperature monitoring system that integrates the DHT22 sensor and ESP32 microcontroller with a Laravel-based web application. Temperature data is transmitted in real time via the MQTT protocol to a server, then stored in a MySQL database and visualized using Chart.js on an interactive dashboard. The applied methodology includes needs analysis, system design, implementation, and system performance testing in displaying temperature data. Test results indicate that the system can present temperature readings accurately, responsively, and reliably. The user interface is designed to be responsive and user-friendly across various devices, from smartphones to laptops. In addition to functioning as a temperature monitoring tool, this system also holds potential as a digital learning medium to introduce fundamental concepts of IoT, sensors, data communication, and web development. By utilizing open-source technologies, the system becomes more accessible, scalable, and applicable to various educational and environmental monitoring contexts. Enhancing Social Skills and Teamwork Through Cooperative Learning in Elementary Schools: A Systematic Review

This study aims to examine the impact of cooperative learning on students' social skills and teamwork in elementary schools. Cooperative learning is considered an effective approach to enhancing students' social abilities by facilitating positive interactions and collaboration within groups. Through a systematic literature review (SLR), this research analyzes ten studies discussing the implementation of cooperative learning in elementary schools, focusing on academic outcomes, social skills, and teamwork. The analysis results indicate that cooperative learning contributes positively to the improvement of students' social skills, as well as strengthening collaboration and interaction within groups. The studies also show that cooperative learning can enhance intrinsic motivation, learning goals, and students' emotional intelligence, which leads to improved learning outcomes. Cooperative learning has been proven effective in enhancing students' social skills and teamwork abilities through positive interdependence, better communication, and mutual support in group tasks. This research provides evidence that the implementation of cooperative learning in elementary schools can improve the classroom climate and support the development of social skills and academic achievement.

Implementation of game-based learning methods through the duolingo application to increase the motivation of English learning for elementary school students

Effective learning is key to achieving learning objectives. This is a challenge for teachers in the era of globalization which is increasingly rapidly developing technology, affecting students' learning interest in traditional learning so that a teacher must present interesting, effective and meaningful learning. To increase students' enthusiasm in learning English, an innovative and creative approach is needed. One effective way is to implement game based learning (GBL) using the duolingo application, where game elements are used to improve the teaching and learning process. This study aims to implement innovative, creative and fun GBL in a learning environment to foster students' motivation to learn. The research method used is qualitative. A group of 5th graders was selected to be assigned an interactive game play assignment designed specifically for a specific learning material. Data were obtained from literature study methods, observation and interviews to collect data. The innovative and creative application of GBL in this study showed a significant increase in students' enthusiasm in learning English. They show more interest, active engagement, and increased motivation in the learning process. Students' understanding of the material also develops, which indicates an increase in student achievement, as well as the ability of students to apply the knowledge gained in real situations. The innovative and creative use of GBL can foster the spirit of learning English in students. This research provides evidence that this approach is effective in increasing student participation, motivation and understanding. Thus, GBL can be a valuable tool to increase the effectiveness of education in today's digital era. The hope is that schools and teachers can consider the use of game-based learning as an interesting method to develop students' enthusiasm and motivation for learning. Further research is recommended to explore the possibilities of applying game-based learning in various educational contexts.

Analysis Of The Experimental Scientific Approach In Improving Science Literacy Among Elementary School Students

Scientific literacy is a fundamental competency in 21st-century education, yet Indonesian elementary students still demonstrate low performance in this area. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of integrating a scientific approach with hands-on experimentation to improve science literacy among fourth-grade students. Using a qualitative phenomenological method, the research involved one science teacher and students from a public elementary school in Cirebon Regency. Data were collected through participatory observation and semi-structured interviews during lessons on the topic of light and its properties. The instructional design followed the five stages of the scientific approach: observing, questioning, experimenting, reasoning, and communicating. The findings reveal that this integrated approach significantly enhanced students’ conceptual understanding, scientific process skills, and learning motivation. Students actively participated in experiments and were able to connect science concepts with everyday experiences. The study concludes that the combination of scientific inquiry and contextual experimentation fosters deeper engagement and improves science learning outcomes. This research contributes to science education by offering a practical strategy to enhance early scientific thinking and address gaps in elementary-level implementation an area that remains underexplored. The approach is especially relevant for the 2013 Curriculum and supports the development of meaningful, engaging, and inquiry-based science learning.

Perbandingan Kualitas Clustering antara Algoritma K-Means dan DBSCAN dalam Segmentasi Pelanggan Produk Digital

Segmentasi pelanggan merupakan strategi penting dalam menganalisis pola konsumsi dan perilaku pengguna dalam berbagai sektor industri, termasuk layanan digital. Dengan kemajuan teknologi dan meningkatnya volume data yang tersedia, organisasi kini membutuhkan metode analisis data yang mampu mengelompokkan pelanggan secara efisien dan bermakna. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan perbandingan antara dua algoritma clustering populer, yaitu K-Means dan DBSCAN (Density-Based Spatial Clustering of Applications with Noise) dalam konteks segmentasi pelanggan berbasis atribut numerik yang diperoleh dari data interaksi dan transaksi digital. K-Means, yang bersifat partisional dan bergantung pada jumlah klaster yang ditentukan di awal, dievaluasi melalui pendekatan Elbow Method dan Silhouette Score untuk menentukan nilai K yang optimal. Di sisi lain, DBSCAN yang berbasis kepadatan tidak memerlukan penentuan jumlah klaster sebelumnya dan mampu mengidentifikasi outlier atau noise secara otomatis, namun sangat bergantung pada pemilihan parameter epsilon (ε) dan minimal sampel. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data pelanggan dari sebuah layanan digital, terdiri dari atribut seperti umur pengguna, frekuensi interaksi, dan jumlah pengeluaran. Seluruh data melalui proses pembersihan, normalisasi, dan rekayasa fitur sebelum dilakukan klasterisasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa algoritma K-Means menghasilkan lima klaster utama dengan distribusi yang lebih merata, sedangkan DBSCAN hanya membentuk satu klaster dominan dengan sejumlah data yang diklasifikasikan sebagai noise, menandakan adanya perbedaan sensitivitas terhadap distribusi data. Evaluasi kualitatif dilakukan menggunakan metrik Silhouette Score yang memperlihatkan nilai 0.32 untuk K-Means dan nilai yang sangat rendah untuk DBSCAN, menunjukkan kualitas cluster yang kurang optimal dalam skenario ini. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa tidak ada satu algoritma clustering yang secara universal unggul, melainkan pemilihannya sangat bergantung pada karakteristik data, kebutuhan segmentasi, dan tujuan analisis. Implikasi praktis dari studi ini adalah pentingnya memahami kekuatan dan keterbatasan masing-masing algoritma dalam konteks implementasi nyata, khususnya dalam pengelolaan strategi personalisasi dan retensi pelanggan berbasis data.

PEMANFAATAN INTERNET OF THINGS (IOT) DAN WEB OF THINGS (WOT) DALAM PENDIDIKAN (2020-2025)

Penelitian ini mengkaji integrasi teknologi Internet of Things (IoT) dan Web of Things (WoT) dalam sektor pendidikan selama periode 2020 hingga 2025. Kajian ini dilakukan melalui telaah sistematis terhadap 25 artikel yang terindeks Scopus guna mengeksplorasi bagaimana teknologi tersebut mendukung lingkungan pembelajaran cerdas (smart learning environments), instruksi yang dipersonalisasi (personalized instruction), serta penerapan laboratorium jarak jauh (remote laboratory applications). Temuan menunjukkan bahwa IoT dan WoT semakin banyak digunakan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi, keterlibatan, dan aksesibilitas pembelajaran. Tema utama yang diidentifikasi meliputi kelas adaptif, pemantauan akademik, keamanan biometrik, dan personalisasi berbasis data. Meskipun teknologi ini menawarkan banyak manfaat, tantangan seperti interoperabilitas, kesiapan infrastruktur, dan literasi digital masih menjadi hambatan. Studi ini menekankan pentingnya validasi empiris, pelatihan guru, serta dukungan kebijakan untuk mewujudkan transformasi pendidikan yang berkelanjutan dan inklusif.
