Abstract
This research is motivated by the changes in the curriculum within the
education sector, which necessitate updates to the teaching materials used in the learning process, particularly in the subject of Mathematics for fifth-grade students focusing on flat shapes. The aim of this study is to compare the teaching materials from the KTSP Curriculum and the Merdeka Curriculum, as well as to analyze the feasibility of the content, language, presentation, and graphics. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method, utilizing data collection techniques such as observation, material review, and documentation study. The subjects of this research include the fifth-grade student books published by the Ministry of Education and the Cerdas Matematika fifth-grade student book published by the local government. The findings of this study are expected to serve as a foundation for developers in creating interactive, creative, and innovative teaching materials on flat shapes, presented with engaging content to enhance student interest and facilitate their understanding of the concepts of flat shapes.T
